Astrid Merkel

Astrid Merkel has been firmly rooted at Juwelier Badort since 1992. She is highly dedicated to many areas of our company, such as purchasing in the jewelry department. When she's passionate about a brand, she puts her heart and soul into its design and presentation. She also enjoys being creative herself, designing window displays and implementing them with meticulous attention to detail.

It's not uncommon for a piece or two from newly discovered collections to be added to her private collection. She is an avid wearer and lover of creative jewelry design, such as the collections by Ole Lynggaard, Schmuckwerk, and Twentyten. She is a true jewelry fanatic.

Astrid Merkel loves originality. When she's not advising clients or sourcing new designers for us, she creates imaginative home textiles for friends and family. She especially enjoys volunteering at a retirement home. We are very proud to have someone like Merkel on our team, who passionately turns her profession into her calling.
