As part of the Five Deeps Expedition, the Ultra Deep made history with its journey to the deepest point on earth in 2019. Following this world record dive, the watch has now been redesigned for a unique collection available for sale to the public. Developed during the development phase in real underwater conditions, the design features water resistance to a depth of 6,000 meters (20,000 feet) and complies with ISO 6425:2018, the standard for saturation diver watches.
This 45.5 mm model made of robust O-MEGASTEEL features a polished blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale. Through the protruding, domed sapphire crystal you can see a white dial with four Arabic numerals in blue as well as hands and indices made of 18K white gold coated with white Super-LumiNova.
The watch is held on the wrist by a rubber strap with blue lining and O-MEGASTEEL clasp, while the Grade 5 titanium medallion on the caseback has been laser engraved with a sonar symbol and the iconic OMEGA seahorse in the center. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8912.
