However, it was the mystical aura of the Earth's night light and its ever-changing yet continuous presence that inspired the creation of the Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon "Black Black".
This 44.25mm model features a polished and brushed black ceramic case and a matte black ceramic dial and black ceramic clasp on a black coated nylon textile strap.
The model gets its nickname from its brushed, blackened Moonwatch-style hands as well as its blackened applied indices, all of which are coated with black Super-LumiNova. The familiar subdials positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock are also matt black, and the black ceramic bezel features a black, lacquered tachymeter scale. Its heart is the OMEGA Co-Axial caliber 9300.
