Product description
OMEGA's maritime heritage was the guiding principle behind the launch of the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. Today, the stylish models still pay homage to OMEGA's legacy in diving watches.
This 45.5mm model features a ceramicized titanium dial with a small seconds counter and date window, as well as 60-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 o'clock. Orange ceramic was used for the pusher rings and the unidirectional rotating bezel. The diving scale on the bezel is filled with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova.
Other features include an alveolar screw-down caseback and a polyamide NATO strap with 5 stripes in orange, gray and white, attached to a polished stainless steel clasp and lugs.
The watch is water resistant to 60 bar (600 meters) and is equipped with a helium escape valve. The heart of this watch, the OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 9900, can be admired through the transparent case back. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it had to undergo eight rigorous tests developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
