This model with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal features a black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at 6 o'clock. It also features a small seconds subdial as well as a 60-minute and a 12-hour counter on the same dial for intuitive reading of the elapsed time. The 45.5mm stainless steel case features the world's first black ceramic bezel with orange rubber. The bezel's diving scale is made of Liquidmetal™.
Other features include an alveolar screw-down caseback and a stainless steel bracelet with a patented extendable folding clasp.
The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer Chronograph is water resistant to 60 bar (600 meters/2000 feet) and equipped with a helium escape valve. The heart of this watch, the OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 9900, can be admired through the transparent case back. To achieve Master Chronometer status, he had to undergo eight rigorous tests developed by the Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
