Featuring a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, this model features a polished black ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at 3 o'clock. The 43.5mm stainless steel case features the world's first black ceramic bezel with orange rubber. The bezel's diving scale is made of Liquidmetal™.
Other features include an alveolar screw-down caseback and a stainless steel bracelet with a patented extendable folding clasp.
The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer is water resistant to 60 bar (600 meters/2,000 feet) and equipped with a helium escape valve. The heart of this watch, the OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8900, can be admired through the transparent caseback. To achieve Master Chronometer status, he had to undergo eight rigorous tests developed by the Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
